Halloween has presented Heather with the first opportunity to play dress up for serious with her new little baby. In trying to find the perfect Cute-Relevent-Suitable-Fluffy-Warm-Crafty-Adorable-Oh I Have That Fabric In My Closet and I Can Sew That In Two Hours-Very First Halloween Costume Ever (No pressure, being the daughter of a COSTUME DESIGNER!)-Costume...
We present our Little Bunny, as we love to call her daily, playing the key role in a song we love to sing to her;

Fun Things

Gigi and Grandpa Fred have this awesome saucer that I get to have, it's really fun!

I'm not sure why mom and dad are so excited, maybe because suddenly I am occupied and happy on my own for half an hour at a time and don't need a thing from them except a "Hey, how's it going?" from across the room? Maybe.

Also, there is another amazing Rec Center nearby. Gigi and G. Fred gave us a guest pass and we go swimming most days. Today we all went and after some serious laps in the Lazy River, we hung out in the Family Hot Tub.

Carve those Pumpkins!

Hmm, this looks interesting.

Whoa. What is that?!?!

Oh. I get it. Just another photo opportunity. (To be honest, yes. Mom searched for the biggest pumpkin she could find to put the baby in...)

Well, I guess it's all worth it with love from Gigi like this!

Another Very Special Visit

Today we met Great Grandmother Leta Tedesko, Heather's maternal Grandma. It was a very special visit.

And I think some secrets were shared...

Presents!

Sophie even got presents upon arrival.

Cool. We love presents.

Another Very Special Gift is this beautiful High Chair, hand made by Grandpa Fred. Here we are, on Sophie's Six-Month birthday, celebrating our first solid food (avocado, yum!) in our brand new high chair.

Ryan, his wife Kelly, and Addison are there to celebrate (Addison in her hand made chair as well!).

Yay for family!

To Colorfoul Colorado!

While I have no photographic documentation of the event, we made our first successful plane trip with miss Sophie this afternoon, to Heather's family in Broomfield, Colorado. All was great, Sophie was a flying champion!
Here we are greeted by Ryan, Heather's little brother and his daughter, Addison, who is a year and a half old.

A Very Special Gift

Sophie is enjoying her beautiful blanket, hand woven by Great Aunt Marcia in Bellingham. It served for nearly a month as a curtain (ahem), between the living and bedrooms at sleepy time, but now that mom has found an Actual Curtain for this purpose, we are able to enjoy the lovely heirloom properly, by nuzzling with it in bed!

Introducing The Bear!

As the cooler weather comes, we get to bust out one of my favorite hand-me-downs, what we call, simply, Bear. As in, "Do you think it's cold enough for Bear?" Clearly, today it was.
