This evening we went to our friend Theo's house for a monthly Cocktail Hour, hosted by Theo's mom and dad, Erika and Kevin, and their housemates Mabry (6 months old), Miller and Nathan. It was a great time, here are the twinsies hangning out in the Johnny Jumpup Lineup. I say twinsies because Theo and Sophie were born on the same day at Swedish Hospital. It's amazing I don't have more photos of all four of us, we have been quite the pack these early months, carpooling hither and yon! Anyway, the story goes that, clearly Erika and I were a bit busy to have met that day in the hospital, but our mothers weren't! They met in the waiting room, waiting to meet their little grandbabies. Well, about a week later, we all ran into each other at Essential Bakery, small world after all! Erika and I met in our haze that day, and kept running into each other in the neighborhood, and figured it must be a sign we should be friends. So we started going to First Weeks, and Next Months, and the movies together, and Sophie and Theo have hung out many an hour in the back seat together. Well, all friendships start somewhere!

Yo Mama's for Obama!
Well, we apologize for the lapse in new entries after the New Year but, whew! We're glad the Holidays are over! Much love to all and it was a great time, but I feel like we've spent a month and a half just getting back into some sort of rhythm! So not a whole lot going on, but that didn't stop Heather from making a certain online purchase just in time for the Iowa Caucus...
The onesie goes with the chant that Sophie hears just about every time we hear our Hopeful Next President's name on NPR;
"Yo Mama, Yo Mama, Yo Mama's for Obama!" I think Sophie doesn't so much mind being a political advertisement for her mother. Plus, what could she do about it if she didn't? Hee hee!
